My body of work represents Kyogle, my hometown. Each meeting place means something special for me. The pink meeting place means the most: the old house I grew up in with my dad, nan and uncle. Above that: a footy field where I play NRL with my cousins and watch my uncles and aunties play footy. The last meeting place is an old swimming spot where I hang out with my cousins, friends and family on a hot day or after footy. The big road conveys how colonisers made roads over Aboriginal land, displacing our land’s custodians and Elders.

My artmaking practice has been influenced by the study and interpretation of the following artists: my Uncle Wayne Walker, Naata Nungurrayi.
