My intent in my body of work was to redirect the lens from the children in a family and focus on an aspect of family life that is often ignored: the growth of the parents. Based on candid photos, my work is a fragmented representation of my parent’s relationship, ageing and experiences as parents and individuals.
My artmaking practice has been influenced by the study and interpretation of the artist Christina Papagianni.
