A Tribute

Drawing, charcoal

My body of work acts as a tribute to my grandparents and their creative pursuits. Highlighting my grandad’s love of photography and my grandma’s skill in needle work, the collection honours their admired abilities of expression and passion for craft. I've incorporated slides from years gone by that have captured some of their adventures together, providing a glimpse into their world and their persona’s, which have had such a positive impact on my life.

An artistic orange brushstroke design forms abstract shapes on a white background. Overlaid on the design is the word "artexpress" in a sleek, modern black font. The orange brush strokes appear dynamic and free-flowing, with splatters and tapered ends.Simplified waratah flower in deep red colour with the words NSW Government in dark blue stacked underneath.
