My body of work is inspired by accidents and road signs, seen through the lens of Dadaism, ready-made and anti-art concepts and aesthetics, and ideas about the exuberance of youth and the fragility of life. I struggled with this concept and how I could develop the work, wondering how to assemble the pieces in a way that expressed my ideas. My Visual Arts teacher assisted me in gathering materials and suggested interpretations. Considering the use of materials in ready-mades, I sought inspiration from Dadaism and its rebellious contributions to the art world in the early 20th century.
