'I see a bird on midsummers night

High aloft, in all its might.

I see sweeping strides of feathered plumes

And once it left

Its presence theft

I stand aghast, as night resumes' - (Flight of Night poem by Odisium Galdor circa 1650)

My body of work utilises a multitude of mediums, with an emphasis on printmaking techniques supported by photomedia and sculptural aspects. These mediums explore the wonder in the duality of flight, the sporadic transience and briefest of flashing moments seen in the raw, unhindered displays of power in the flight of birds marking the skies.

An artistic orange brushstroke design forms abstract shapes on a white background. Overlaid on the design is the word "artexpress" in a sleek, modern black font. The orange brush strokes appear dynamic and free-flowing, with splatters and tapered ends.Simplified waratah flower in deep red colour with the words NSW Government in dark blue stacked underneath.
