A large black structure of found materials

1 April 2015 to 19 August 2015

During a three-week residency at Hazelhurst artist Jonathan Roson used recycled and natural materials to create a continuously evolving, site specific installation in the gardens.

The project aimed to explore the principles and ideas of process art and to draw a link between perceptual space, recycled materials and the artistic processes to create a unified physical manifestation. Visitors were invited to engage with the artist during the development of the work.

The completed installation was exhibited for 3 months during which time it saw shifts in form as the materials were effects by the weather and environmental conditions.
