Part of the annual HSC Showcase season ARTEPRESS at Hazelhurst features outstanding HSC artworks by 44 Visual Arts students from across NSW.

This year's exhibition highlighted the many concerns of young people today such as body image, unfair wages, animal welfare, the environment, poverty, consumerism and anxiety.

Hazelhurst joined with other venues across Sydney in hosting the hugely popular ARTEXPRESS, which is seen by thousands of people each year.

An artistic orange brushstroke design forms abstract shapes on a white background. Overlaid on the design is the word "artexpress" in a sleek, modern black font. The orange brush strokes appear dynamic and free-flowing, with splatters and tapered ends.

ARTEXPRESS was presented jointly by the NSW Department of Education and the NSW Education Standards Authority and is hosted by Hazelhurst Arts Centre.
