A large yellow abstract artwork with patches of dark green, red and orange. The work is textured and looks sandy to touch.

Perfect fog is an exhibition of Abstract Expressionist paintings capturing the nuances of the Tasman Sea using repurposed material keyed by the landscape.

Seeing the world through Stargardt eyes, the artist sees only with what is left of his peripheral vision, creating a kind of foggy lullaby. Each painting is the result of his difficult journeys to the beach, balancing line, mass and tone. The works are a celebration of being.
