Kylie George’s exhibition originally started as a seven day project with the parameters of creating a new work every day that utilised acrylic paint, 30 x 40cm boards and repurposed wooden frames.
The project organically evolved into something greater as she found the beauty within her immediate surroundings. It grew to become 77 completed works in 77 days, with the last work completed on 25 October 2022. During this time it became a reflective, soothing and sometimes stressful challenge.
The artist hopes that the resulting movement and colour within the works will inspire audiences to persevere even when things are difficult.
