A documentary film made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective shows the destruction of the occupied West Bank and the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel Adra and Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham.
Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist/lawyer from Masafer Yatta - a group of Palestinian villages in the southern West Bank - has been fighting his community’s mass expulsion by the Israeli occupation since childhood - the largest single act of forced displacement ever carried out in the occupied West Bank.
Striking up an unlikely friendship with Israeli investigative journalist Yuval Abraham, who lives a starkly different life to Adra, the two with the help of an Isreali-Palestinian film making collective commit themselves to documenting and protesting the demolition of Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
Winner 2025 Academy Award Best Documentary.
