A New Zealand drama about a Samoan teacher, grieving the loss of her daughter in the 2011 Christchurch quake. She takes a substitute teaching position at an elite, private school and forms a choir, unexpectedly rediscovering her passion for teaching and motherhood, while empowering her students. The film explores themes of grief, resilience, cultural identity, and the power of music and mentorship.
