The story of the most famous American political scandal of the 20th century. In the early 1970s, the Watergate scandal rocked the American administration to its foundations exposing a cover-up of abuses of power leading all the way to the Oval Office- an investigation that would topple President Richard Nixon. Based on the book written by Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, the film follows the investigation into the Watergate Hotel break-in and subsequent cover-up of that crime.
