Our ceramics courses cater to a range of skill levels and interests, offering hands-on learning and creative exploration. Beginners are guided through the essentials: hand-building techniques, an introduction to the potter’s wheel, and the fundamentals of glazing and firing.
More experienced students can refine their practice, experiment with surface decoration and glazing, and learn more about firing processes. Advanced studio practice courses provide opportunities to share ideas, receive feedback and work on self-directed projects in a supportive environment.
Studio
Our studio is fully equipped with everything you need to create ceramic works. Enjoy access to tools, wheels, a variety of glazes, and professional-grade kilns to support your creative process.
Firing
A selection of works created in class will be fired as part of your course fee. We are unable to fire pieces made outside your class. To ensure safe and successful firings, we only use materials suited to our kilns and processes. All works must fit within communal firing requirements—please contact us before enrolling if you have questions about size limitations.
Clay
A limited selection of clay is available for purchase on-site, and we support a reclaim system to reduce waste and promote both environmental and financial sustainability.
