The Australian bush can be both beautiful and foreboding, dense, tangled foliage concealing unseen dangers while bursts of colour emerge defiantly from the shadows. Bloom celebrates the iconic native flowers of Sutherland Shire, presenting them within the bushland environments they call home.

Drawing on her own encounters in nature, local printmaker Stephanie McCready explores the metaphorical meaning of "to bloom" through expressive linocut printmaking. The exhibition reflects on resilience, growth and the quiet power of thriving in challenging landscapes, both botanical and personal.
