The Continuum Art Society is a founding member of Hazelhurst Arts Centre. One of the active groups of artists who brought the idea to Sutherland Shire Council over 30 years ago of providing an Arts Centre for the Community on the land of the Hazelhurst site at Gymea, they continue this pursuit of promoting art and art appreciation within the Community.

Established in 1982, the Continuum Art Society is a not-for-profit organisation and an active member of the Combined Art Societies of Sydney. Their aim is to further the love of art using all mediums and to encourage art development and discussion by regular workshops and demonstrations.

Members of the Continuum Art Society are artists from diverse backgrounds in a socially inclusive, supportive and creative group. There are a number of practising artists, award-winning artists, emerging artists and craftspeople - some members have achieved significant recognition in the art world, with their works represented in collections nationally and internationally.

This is an ideal opportunity for the group to showcase their multi-faceted talents as well as promote the benefits of engaging with others creating art in a welcoming environment.

The group will be exhibiting a selection of works from their preferred medium, showcasing a range of styles in painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

The diversity and subject matter of the works will portray the characteristics of each member and the inspirations in their journey to making art. As local artists, many have used their immediate surroundings as a source of inspiration and materials.
