Conduit brings together teachers from Hazelhurst Arts Centre, Gymea TAFE’s Ceramic Design Studio and TAFE ceramics studios from across Sydney.

The exhibition is a celebration of ceramics, its elemental nature, the way in which it is drawn from the ground and manifested in final objects. CONDUIT acknowledges the journey from material to object and that the transmission of knowledge from teacher to student is as fundamental as the outcome.

To further emphasise the importance of inherited knowledge passed down through the medium, each Hazelhurst teacher has also selected an exceptional student from their classes to exhibit alongside them.
